Stay tuned for 2013 Games Updates!
Many of us were part of the city wide Scavenger Hunt that had us going places, doing things and experiencing compassion all while getting SuperBetter! As individuals we increased our resiliency by completing “quests”, doing “power ups”, defeating “bad guys” and receiving “future boosts!”
Random Acts of Compassion are selfless acts performed by a person or a group of people wishing to help others or the earth. Those who played this game learned about compassion by practicing it. Several of us joined the Kindness Class being taught by Andy Smallman and became inspired at a whole new level.
Thank you to everyone who participated in Planned Action Projects. We improved our environment and helped our neighbors through activities like: planting gardens; organizing carpools; painting a house; organizing food shelves at a food bank; or volunteering to help out at an animal shelter.
Several of us shared our stories of compassion in the online gallery of stories. You can read about someone or something that made another person’s day, healed a community or inspired a life on our blog.
